Facebook Making It Easier To Test Drugs For Money

If you’re like me, then you are constantly at war with your body — it won’t let you sleep, so you drink a bottle of Jameson, but it counters with “heartburn” and “hangover.” Aggravating. Thankfully, you always have the option to punish your body AND make money with medical clinic testing. And thanks to Facebook, getting paired up with the magical special pharmaceutical company has become easier than ever.

Does this mean Big Brother has officially taken over, trolling your wall posts for info about a condition you might have that “They” want to test? Well, no. The companies in charge of recruiting buy ads that line up with the location and age range of subjects they are looking for. From there, they hope that the ads will catch the eye of potentially qualifying candidates. After answering a short questionnaire, you get put in the company’s database as a potential subject for future studies.

Research studies, either medical or marketing, are effective ways to supplement your income outside of a normal job. Or to provide you with beer (and antacid) money for this weekend. With any luck, your body will forgive you.
